  • From Ryan backpacking around Europe, to Gabby being the daughter of the QUEEN of traveling, it only seemed fitting to have a destination wedding. We’ve always wanted to share our love for adventure with our family and friends. After visiting Portugal, we knew this was where we wanted to share that experience and we are so excited!

  • Please book flights ASAP to get the best price!

  • Although we recommend arriving a day or two early, please be in Porto by August 23rd to enjoy the welcome party. If not, the wedding will be on August 24th.

  • We’re so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we’re keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.

  • Of course! Nothing like celebrating with the whole family, especially on the dance floor. 

  • While the welcome party will be semi-formal, we can’t wait to see our loved ones all dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in in your best formal attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. Bring sunglasses if possible since the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside.

  • Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside at Palacio do Freixo. The reception will then be held inside at the same location. 

  • August is one of the warmest and sunniest months in Porto! You can expect daytime temperatures to range between 77-86° F (25-30° C), with cooler evenings around 61-64° F (16-18° C). Rain is minimal and the days are typically dry and breezy with plenty of sunshine - perfect for sightseeing and celebrating outdoors. We recommend packing light, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes and a light jacket or sweater for the evenings. 

  • We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like and don’t forget to share them with us!

  • The ceremony will begin promptly at [time to be determined], so we recommend arriving 15-30 minutes early to find your seat and settle in. 

  • The celebration will officially wrap up at 2:00 AM - so bring your dancing shoes and get ready for a full night of fun! If you’re staying nearby, it’s an easy ride back to most hotels or accommodations. 

  • We’re still finalizing the transport details and will update this section as soon as we have more information. However, Bolt/Uber can easily be utilized to arrive at the venue.

  • Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you — get ready to party! 

  • Yes! For any urgent matters on the day of the welcome party/wedding, please contact [information to be provided on a later date]. They’ll be available to assist with logistics, directions or any unexpected issues.
